About Us

Three Decades of
Honest Craft

Our story begins with a single workshop and a commitment to making furniture that lasts — and it hasn't changed since 1994.

Founded in the Heart of
Java's Craft Tradition

Rajawali Rattan was founded in 1994 by Bapak Sugiono Hartono in Semarang, Central Java — a region with centuries of heritage in natural fiber craft. What started as a 12-person workshop has grown into one of Central Java's most respected rattan export factories.

Today, led by the second generation of the Hartono family, we employ over 350 artisans across a 12,000 m² production facility. We export containers monthly to Europe, working with independent retailers, furniture chains, interior designers, and hospitality brands.

Our philosophy remains unchanged: source responsibly, craft honestly, and build long-term partnerships with buyers who value quality over price alone.
