Our Method
We source FSC®-certified rattan from Kalimantan, Indonesia. Only mature canes are harvested, allowing regrowth for long-term forest health.
Raw rattan undergoes kiln-drying at 60°C for 48–72 hours to eliminate moisture and pests. Sulfur fumigation ensures pest-free export compliance.
Rattan poles are heated and bent into precise shapes using custom jigs. Teak or mahogany frames are joined with mortise-and-tenon joinery for strength.
Skilled artisans weave rattan strands in traditional Indonesian patterns. Each weaver undergoes 6 months of training. A single chair takes 4–8 hours to weave.
All pieces are hand-sanded with 3-grade progression (80 → 150 → 240 grit) for a smooth, splinter-free surface before any finish is applied.
EU REACH-compliant water-based stains and lacquers. Available in 12 standard finishes or custom color matching. UV-resistant topcoat for outdoor grades.
In-house upholstery workshop handles cushion fabrication. High-density foam (35D) with fabric options from our sample book or custom fabric supply.
In-process, pre-shipment, and container loading inspections. We welcome third-party inspectors from SGS, Intertek, and Bureau Veritas.
Export-grade cartons, polyfoam wrap, and corner protectors. Flat-pack options available to maximize container utilization. FCL and LCL from Tanjung Priok.
