2001 Founded

Our Story

Started in a Small Workshop.

In 2001, Budi Santoso started RattanCraft with twelve craftsmen and a dream: to bring Indonesian rattan craftsmanship to the world market — without compromising on quality or sustainability.

Today, under the leadership of the second generation, we operate a 15,000 m² production facility in Cirebon with over 350 skilled craftspeople, a dedicated R&D design team, and direct export relationships spanning 40+ countries.

We believe great furniture starts with great materials and honest craftsmanship. Every piece that leaves our factory is built to last — and built to travel.

Our Journey

2001

Company Founded

Started with 12 artisans in a 200 m² workshop in Cirebon. First export order to Netherlands.

2006

First Major Expansion

Moved to 3,500 m² facility. Team grew to 80 craftspeople. Added Germany and Australia to export markets.

2012

FSC® Certification

Achieved Forest Stewardship Council certification — a first for rattan manufacturers in West Java.

2016

OEM Design Studio

Launched dedicated OEM division for private-label clients. Added in-house design team for custom projects.

2020

ISO 9001:2015 Certified

Full Quality Management System certification. Implemented digital production tracking across all stages.
